Thank you for choosing The White Hair Salon for your hair care needs. Please review our booking and cancellation policy outlined below:

  1. Booking Appointments:
    • Appointments can be booked through our website, phone, or in-person at the salon.
    • To secure your appointment, a deposit may be required. This deposit can be applied towards the total cost of your service.
    • Appointments without a deposit may be subject to cancellation 48 hours before the scheduled time.
  2. Modifying or Cancelling Appointments:
    • You may modify or cancel your appointment up to 48 hours before the scheduled time without any penalty.
    • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
    • Failure to attend your booked appointment without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the appointment and any deposit paid.
  3. Deposit Policy:
    • If you haven’t paid the required deposit 48 hours prior to your appointment, your booking will be automatically cancelled.
    • Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment time or for no-shows.
    • A deposit is required to secure your appointment. The deposit amount will be a minimum of £30.
  4. Late Arrivals:
    • We understand that unforeseen circumstances may cause you to arrive late. However, arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in the need to reschedule your appointment, and the deposit may be forfeited.
  5. Rescheduling:
    • We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests, but availability may be limited.
  6. Group Bookings:
    • For group bookings, a separate policy may apply. Please inquire at the time of booking.
  7. Special Circumstances:
    • We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations may arise. Please contact us as soon as possible if you encounter such circumstances, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
  8. Patch Test Requirement:
    • New clients who are booking certain hair treatments, such as hair colouring services using products containing dye or chemicals, are required to undergo an allergy patch test.
    • The patch test must be performed no sooner than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment for any such treatment.
    • Existing clients who have not undergone a patch test within the last twelve months may also be required to undergo a new patch test, depending on the specific treatment and any changes in their health or medical history.
  9. Options for Patch Test:
    • At the Point of Booking (In-Person): If you are booking your appointment in-person at the salon, you have the option to undergo the patch test at that time.
    • At the Salon (Online or Phone Booking): If you are booking your appointment online or over the phone, you will need to attend the salon at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment to undergo the patch test.
  10. Patch Test Procedure:
    • The patch test involves applying a small amount of the hair treatment product behind your ear or on a small patch of skin on your arm.
    • You will need to leave the patch test area untouched for a specified period, typically 48 hours, to monitor for any allergic reactions.
  11. Failure to Undergo Patch Test:
    • Clients who fail to undergo the patch test as required may have their hair treatment appointment cancelled or rescheduled.
    • The White Hair Studio reserves the right to refuse to perform certain hair treatments on clients who have not undergone the necessary patch test.
